Cate Lee – Chartered Physiotherapist

Cate Lee

Cate qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2002 and was awarded the MSc in Orthopaedic Medicine from Middlesex University in 2012.

Since 2008 Cate has been an Extended Scope Practitioner for the NHS in Birmingham, specialising in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. She was a Physiotherapist with the Rugby Football Union (Women) from 2003-2016, working with the West Midlands Development and National Elite Squads at all age groups and has worked with a number of local rugby clubs. In 2013 Cate was also honoured to work with GB Paralympic Athletics at both Warm Weather Training Camps and at the IPC World Athletics Championships in Lyon, France.


In her spare time Cate can be found hanging upside down from a variety of circus apparatus in her hobby as an amateur aerialist. This has also developed a specialist interest in the management of injuries in circus artists.
